Erik Aprikos Teschiro

I would like to thank Nagy family for the possibility to translate parts of their e-mails. They write about the life with Erik.
According my opinion, they describe the poodle character so well - character of Teschiro poodles - as they can.

He is perfect in hearing sounds - the opening the cupboard where his gramules and sweet are and he perfectly knows that when we close the microwave oven he has to wait until the end and till that time he fascinatelly looks at it. Because he knows that we heat the meal for him. The kitchen was the first room in our house that he knew and he likes it the most. He is disciplined, lies on the carpet under the table and looks over. Naturally he sees every hidden part of meal even he looks he is sleeping.
He is good friend to all of us. He enjoys watching TV with us. When he is borred, he finds another activity and he can be so "kind" for long time. He loves the small ceramic balls in the flowerboxes. And how many of them are in one flowerbox! We find them - clever hidden- in front of furniture every day. And he is so happy to find them there. For many times we though we hid all things because of him... and he always find another one.

He is nice dog, our small treasure. Our neighbours admire him and he likes it. On the other side we start with some basic training. Erik is very clever and he can fastly takes meat from the kitchen table or eats cake made for visitors. He knows exactly where the dog sweets are hidden - not only in home but as well in our granmum flat. At that part he waits and looks so long time and wait to some good to eat. What say more, he is poodle by every part of his soul. He hates to be lonely and he can welcome us so stormly. He jumps to arms, whistles and is happy.

We have chance to visit with Erik the basic training course, but it is more to work dogs and huge dogs. He is the only poodle there. But for his vitality and movements he is concurence to all others stronger dogs. For example the balance beam - the most of all these big dogs are afraid to use it. It is no problem to our Erik. When he is borrred he is able to sit on it and starts stratching. Our son is active in Eriks training the most and how we can see they both like it.
